Common Questions
Does it hurt?
No. The rivet tool works on the chain ends only, not your skin. You feel nothing. Most people barely notice it happening.
Can I go through airport security (TSA)?
Yes. Permanent jewelry is thin chain — it does not set off metal detectors and does not need to be removed at TSA. It travels with you.
How long does it last?
Forever, with reasonable care. Solid gold is the most durable. Gold-filled is excellent for everyday wear. Avoid harsh chemicals (bleach, chlorinated pools) and it will hold up for years.
Can it be removed?
Yes — cut it off with a pair of scissors if you need to. The rivet seal is strong but the chain is thin. No tools required, no damage to your skin.
Can I shower, swim, or work out in it?
Yes. That's the point. It's permanent — it goes where you go. Avoid harsh chemicals and salt water for extended periods with gold-filled; solid gold handles everything.
